In late elementary school/early middle school, I was obsessed with making these "trick" paper airplanes that, because of their blunt noses, did funny loop-de-loops when you threw them. More than the actual construction or flight of these planes, though, I loved drawing different designs on them in magic marker- everything from random color patterns to flags of different countries to superhero insignia.
